My new ‘hard hitting, no nonense’ guide to dealing with the pressures of the media is now out! Yesterday I had a full day of radio interviews for BBC regions all over the country and the response has been amazing.
It will soon be in the shops but if you want your copy before everyone else, click here on to Kavanagh Tipping’s shop and get it sooner.

ARE YOU BEING FOLLOWED?
If a newspaper is trying to find out about your private life and you drive or are chauffeured, you may be followed. It will always be by someone on a motor cycle because it’s easier that way than following in a car. If you spot a motor bike behind you, take note of what the rider is wearing, jacket, type of helmet, the make or some distinguishing features of the bike, and then watch to see if that same motor cyclist stays with you or turns up behind you again on that day or subsequent days.
Another way your movements can be monitored is by a radio tracker on your car. This reads the GPS (Global Positioning System) signal and you can easily check for it because it will be under the front or back bumper where a clear reading can be obtained, as opposed to under the car where it’s not so good. They generally have a plastic cover with a magnet inside so that they attach easily and quickly to the metal rods holding the bumper in place.
